How To Provide Photos

  • If you have photos or slides that need to be shipped to us for scanning:

    • We recommend that if at all possible you should scan or have your photos and/or slides scanned for you prior to sending your project material to us. That saves time and effort and therefore saves you money. We suggest that you take some blank record once CDs along with your photos to the nearest Kinkos. For $4.99 plus tax you can scan and burn up to 24 photos. Then go home or to your office and make a copy of each CD and send us the copies. Keep the original CDs for your records.

Along with your CD((s) of photos include a printed list that identifies each photo in terms of the order you want them used, which one you want to be the center photo, any captions or banner headline you want to use, etc. Some of this information would have already been E-mailed to us but it pays to have a paper backup. We want you to take this opportunity to give us as much detailed information as you can. We want your collage and/or slide show project to turn out just the way you envisioned it would.

    • If you don't have the ability to send all of the photos on CD as digital files then put them in a water tight bag like a big ziplock bag and then put them in an appropriate sized box at your nearest UPS Store and ship them to Photo Collages And More, 12505 Bayleaf Church Road, Raleigh, NC 27614. Our phone number is 919-676-2032. Insure the photos for whatever you think is appropriate. We are not responsible for any damage during or after shipment to us or the shipping back of your photos once we have completed our work. We make every effort to ensurre the safety of your treasured photos and as soon as we scan them we burn them to a CD which we keep in a firesafe container so that at any time in the future you could contact us and we could make you a copy for a small fee of $10 plus our usual shipping and handling fee. Your originals are shipped back to you as soon as your project is completed.

  • If you have photos that are already in digital form:

    • You can do one of two things. Send the files to us electronically or mail them to us.
    • We suggest you first put all of your digital images into one folder and then, depending on your operating systems (PC or Mac) use a compression program such as Stuffit(PC) or Stuffit(Mac). Just download their free trial versions if you don't already own them and then compress your files. You may decide to use one of these programs all the time and in that case it will be worth the cost of upgrading to the paid versions.
    • Then use the form below to send your files to us. When you upload your files we will receive notification that we can download them from the Send This File website and then we'll start working on your project. This assumes you have given us the details of what you want us to do and that payment for half of the project's total cost has been made via PayPal.
    • The key is to remember that Send This File is going to limit the number of files you can send at any one time. So if you all of your digital image files, compressed or not, add up to more than a total of five send one group of five files and then when you are done sending the first group use the form below and send another group digital files. Keep doing that until all of your individual image or compressed files have been sent to Photo Collages And More. Always be sure to include your user name and project ID number which you will receive from us once you have submitted your order.
    • Powered by: SendThisFile

    • The other way is to send us photos on a CD or DVD. It will take longer for us to receive the photos than using our FTP uploading method. The choice is yours. Send us a copy of the CD or DVD. Any CDs or DVDs sent to us will be kept in our files just in case anything ever happens to your originals or if you ever want us to create a different project that uses some of the same files. Send any CDs or DVDs to Photo Collages And More, Attention Projects, 12505 Bayleaf Church Road, Raleigh, NC 27614.
